The International Joint Audit Institute at Nanjing Audit University is a Ministry of Education-approved, non-independent legal entity jointly established by Nanjing Audit University and France’s SKEMA Business School. It delivers undergraduate education dedicated to cultivating high-level international audit talents with global vision, patriotism, and comprehensive expertise in international auditing standards, cross-cultural communication, innovation, and cooperation.
The institute offers four undergraduate programs: BEc Financial Engineering (financial audit direction), BBA Auditing (internal audit direction), BBA Information Management and Information Systems (big data audit direction), and BBA Engineering Management (engineering audit direction). The “4+0” study model requires four years at the Chinese campus, with optional short-term exchanges. Graduates receive degrees from both Nanjing Audit University and SKEMA Business School. Leveraging the audit strengths of NAU and integrating SKEMA’s global resources, IJAI has established an advanced curriculum with 50% of courses taught by SKEMA faculty. All specialized courses are conducted in English, utilizing research-oriented and interactive pedagogy, supported by small-class teaching and a dual-tutor system. The institute builds its faculty by selecting experienced teachers from NAU and SKEMA, while globally recruiting to form a team with Changjiang Scholars, national allowance experts, foreign experts, and professional elites. IJAI provides comprehensive academic and career guidance, achieving an 80% postgraduate progression rate to world-renowned universities through articulation agreements. Graduates also access premium employment platforms via SKEMA’s 42,000-strong alumni network and institutional partnerships with national audit offices, the IIA, and leading enterprises.
