"Hello China, hello NAU. Here we are!"
Recently, 56 audit professionals from 26 countries joined the Master of Audit Program at Nanjing Audit University (NAU).

The opening ceremony was held at the Minda Lecture Hall. The Party Secretary of NAU, Prof. DONG Birong, President SUN Wenhua, Mr. ZHOU Xun — Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation of the National Audit Office of China — and Vice Presidents LI Qianwen and XU Bo attended the ceremony. They were joined by all international students of the program.

Dong Birong, who chaired the ceremony, stated that the university will stay guided by the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important reply letter, continue to build the "Studying Audit in China" brand and better serve the development of the auditing cause.

On behalf of the university, Sun Wenhua congratulated and welcomed the students.
Speaking for the National Audit Office of China, Zhou Xun welcomed the students and described the program as a key platform for supporting capacity building of audit institutions in developing countries.

Liao Lin, faculty representative from the School of Internal Audit, drew on his own study-abroad experience to share three keywords: setting out, reflecting and self-discovery — engaging with everyday life in China, exchanging experiences across countries, and building trust across different cultures.

Qi Ming (EL MEHDI DIKOUK) of Morocco, speaking for the 2026 cohort, said he was honored to be the program's first Moroccan student.

To date, under the guidance of the National Audit Office of China and with the strong support of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Education of China, NAU has admitted a cumulative total of 476 audit officials from 79 countries to study at the university and pursue their inquiries into auditing.
