On April 7th and 8th, the 2nd Nanjing Audit University (NAU) – University of Birmingham (UoB) Student Academic Forum was held at the Mochou Campus of NAU. The forum was jointly co-organised by the Institute of Economics and Finance at NAU and the Birmingham Business School at UoB.
Nearly 30 students from several Chinese and British universities, including the University of Birmingham, Nanjing Audit University, and Nanjing University, participated in the forum. Academic exchanges were conducted around four cutting-edge themes: "Market, Policy and Pricing", "Climate Change and Finance", "Artificial Intelligence and Applied Economics", and "Institutional Change".
The two-day forum featured four thematic sessions corresponding to the four core themes. Scholars and students from Chinese universities including Xi'an Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Hefei University of Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Jinan University, as well as from the University of Birmingham, shared their latest research findings on topics including digital economy and technology application, green economy and sustainable development, macroeconomy and policy impact, financial markets and corporate behaviour, as well as society and people's livelihoods.
