NAU Delegation Attends International Seminar at Tashkent State University of Economics in Uzbekistan

April 20–24 — At the invitation of Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), an academic delegation led by Prof. LI Tingliao, Associate Dean of the International School of Nanjing Audit University (NAU), visited Tashkent to attend the International Scientific and Practical Conference on "Priority Directions for the Development of the System of Public Finance Control and Internal Audit." The delegation engaged in academic exchanges and practical cooperation with universities involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The international conference brought together scholars and experts from China, Uzbekistan, Russia, and other countries to discuss cutting-edge issues in public finance and internal audit. Research papers by Prof. PANG Yanhong, Assoc. Prof. LI Tingliao, Dr. CHEN Qiuyue, and Dr. YU Jialing from NAU were invited for presentation at the conference.

During the academic seminar on the morning of April 22, Prof. LI Tingliao shared China's innovative practices in public financial supervision amid the wave of digitalization. Dr. YU Jialing, Lecturer at the School of Internal Audit of NAU, elaborated on the practical experience of the Chinese approach within the framework of international standards.

Following the conference, Professor Mekhmonov Sultonail Umaralievich, Vice-Rector of TSUE, met with the NAU delegation. The two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on cooperation in areas such as joint academic programs, faculty sharing, and collaborative research. The delegation also visited the campus facilities and faculty offices of TSUE and had exchanges with graduate students from the university.

This visit was not only an academic dialogue but also an important step in NAU's proactive integration into the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting the global outreach of China's audit culture.
