Vice Chairman Hu Jingdong of the International Sustainability Standards Board visited NAU and delivered a keynote lecture

On the afternoon of April 26, Mr. HUA Jingdong, Vice Chair of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) was invited to visit Nanjing Audit University (NAU). He was accompanied by Ms. ZHANG Minwen, Special Advisor to the Chair of ISSB and Director of the ISSB Beijing Office. Vice President LI Qianwen welcomed the delegation.

HUA and his delegation visited the School of International Students and learned about the development history and educational achievements of NAU's international student programs. They affirmed the university's achievements in faculty development and platform building for international education.

HUA delivered a special lecture titled "Financial Innovation for Sustainable Development - A Perspective from Multilateral Development Banks" to faculty and students a NAU. The lecture was attended by international students from the Master's Program in Auditing, graduate students from the School of Foreign Languages, as well as the International Organization Talent Pool Program's students.

Drawing on his work experience at the World Bank and other international organizations, HUA explained how financial innovation can be used to bridge global capital markets with local development needs, thereby supporting poverty reduction and sustainable development in developing countries.
