On the morning of March 19, delegations led by Rector Teshabayev To'lqin Zakirovich of Tashkent State University of Economics and Rector Obidjon Khamidov of Bukhara State University visited Nanjing Audit University. Professor DONG Birong, Party Secretary of Nanjing Audit University, attended the meeting, and Vice President LI Qianwen presided over the talks. Heads of relevant administrative departments and schools attended the meeting.
Professor DONG welcomed the delegations from the two universities. He stressed that Nanjing Audit University has established a solid foundation for cooperation with Tashkent State University of Economics and Bukhara State University in the field of auditing. In September 2025, at the ceremony where Dr. Abdullaev, Acting Chairman of the COA of Uzbekistan, was appointed as an Honorary Professor of our university, NAU signed a Memoranda of Understanding with both universities respectively. This dedicated return visit marks the official entry of the trilateral cooperation into a substantive implementation phase.
Rector Teshabayev To'lqin Zakirovich of Tashkent State University of Economics expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception and spoke highly of the distinctive features and achievements of Nanjing Audit University in the field of audit education. He stated that he looks forward to taking the "Chinese experience in auditing" as an important framework to deepen and expand cooperation with NAU in areas such as joint talent cultivation and collaborative discipline development.
Rector Obidjon Khamidov of Bukhara State University shared his thoughts and plans for the cooperation between the two universities. He expressed that he felt particularly at home visiting NAU once again and hoped that the signing of the Cooperation Roadmap would serve as a new starting point to promote the implementation and tangible results of the trilateral partnership.
During the talks, representatives from the three universities engaged in practical exchanges on topics such as international talent cultivation, faculty and student exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and academic seminar interactions. They reached a consensus on comprehensively deepening international cooperation, laying the groundwork for future collaboration in areas including cooperative education programs, joint training, disciplinary co-development, and collaborative research.
Following the talks, Professor DONG signed the Cooperation Roadmap between Nanjing Audit University and Tashkent State University of Economics, as well as between Nanjing Audit University and Bukhara State University, together with Rector Teshabayev To'lqin Zakirovich and Rector Obidjon Khamidov respectively.
