On December 5, the second Sino-France Education Development Forum was held at Sichuan University. As an important event of French President Emmanuel Macron's fourth visit to China, the forum brought together representatives from over a hundred universities and experts from China and France to explore pathways for educational cooperation and promote the development of cultural exchanges. Prof. LU Hualiang, President of Nanjing Audit University, attended this forum, where he fully engaged in the exchanges and discussions, and listened to President Emmanuel Macron's keynote speech on-site.

During the forum, universities from China and France engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the development of talent cultivation systems, innovation in humanities and social sciences, and student exchanges between China and France. The discussions resulted in 54 cooperative achievements covering areas such as joint cultivation and scientific research collaboration, thereby injecting educational momentum into the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and France.

As the only Sino-French joint education institute benchmark in Jiangsu Province specializing in business disciplines, NAU’s International Joint Audit Institute has consistently showcased the achievements since the inaugural forum in 2024. Anchored in the consensus reached by the leaders of both nations, the college upholds the educational philosophy of “Distinction, Quality, Internationalization” and has established an integrated "Bachelor-Master-Doctorate" talent cultivation system in international auditing. In 2024, the employment rate of its first undergraduate cohort reached 98.65%, with 67% of graduates advancing to further studies at prestigious institutions both domestically and abroad. In 2025, the institute expanded its enrollment scale and secured approval for China Scholarship Council’s International Organization Talent Reserve Training Program. The recognition of its educational endeavors has significantly increased, and its cooperation with France's SKEMA Business School continues to deepen.
The Joint Institute integrates the academic strengths of both universities to create a training model characterized by “Specialization + Auditing + Digitalization + Internationalization”. It has introduced over 40 high-quality courses from the French partner institution, and students have received more than 200 awards at the provincial, ministerial, or higher levels. In 2025, the Institute welcomed 127 exchange students from SKEMA Business School, fostering Sino-France youth exchange and mutual learning through diverse activities, with some exchange students securing internships and employment in China. The jointly established “Belt and Road” National Audit Research Institute operates steadily, supported by 29 industry-academia internship and practice bases. The collaboration has yielded fruitful results in joint research and industry-education integration, contributing to global governance and China’s opening-up initiatives.
