On December 8, Professor Obidjon Khamidov, Rector of Bukhara State University in Uzbekistan, and Dr. Yusufjon Sunnatov, Head of the Department of Accounting and Statistics, visited Nanjing Audit University.President LU Hualiang attended the meeting, and Vice President LI Qianwen hosted the meeting.
President LU noted that the two universities have engaged in frequent exchanges this year, particularly with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding witnessed by the leaders of the two countries’ supreme audit institutions. This marks a new era of collaboration between the two sides.
Professor Khamidov introduced the educational history of Bukhara State University and its developments in areas such as public auditing and Chinese culture studies.
Following this, representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including faculty and student exchanges, sharing of academic resources, co-organizing academic conferences, and research on regional and national audit governance.
During their visit, the delegation also visited the Audit Culture and Education Museum and the International Students College of Nanjing Audit University.
