On July 9, 2025, the Partnership for Green Development in Asia Conference, co-hosted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC) of the Ministry of Commerce, was held in Shanghai. The theme of this conference was “Resilient, Green, and Transformative Development of Belt and Road Countries in Asia”. Dong Birong, Party Secretary of Nanjing Audit University, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech titled “The Role of China's Natural Resources and Environmental Auditing in Ecological Civilization Construction and Economic-Social Development.”
In his speech, Dong Birong systematically expounded on the development history, practical achievements and international contributions of China's natural resources and environmental audit.
The speech comprehensively elaborated on the experience and achievements of China's environmental audit, which aroused strong interest and questions from representatives of many countries. He sincerely invited all parties to deepen cooperation with Nanjing University of Audit.
Participation in this conference highlighted the academic influence of Nanjing Audit University in serving national strategies and promoting international audit cooperation, while also makes a positive contribution to telling the story of China's ecological civilization construction and promoting the improvement of the global environmental governance system.
