Nanjing Audit University (NAU) grants the Honorary Professor Title

On the afternoon of September 23, Dr. Alikhan Smailov, Chairman of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Dr. Ammar Khalaf, Head of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit of Iraq, were granted as the Honorary Professors of Nanjing Audit University.

Relevant staff from National Audit Office of the People’s Republic of China and representatives from Nanjing Audit University attended.

Dong Birong, secretary of theParty Committee of Nanjing Audit University, presided over the appointment ceremony and extended a sincere welcome to the delegations from the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Board of Supreme Audit of Iraq.

Lu Hualiang, President of Nanjing Audit University, delivered a speech and expressed his expectation to jointly promote the improvement of audit capacity in Asia.

President Lu presented the honorary professor certificate to Dr. Alikhan Smailov and affixed the university emblem for him.

Dr. Smailov expressed that he was deeply honored to be appointed as an Honorary Professor of Nanjing Audit University.

Dr. Khalaf expressed his great honor at being appointed an Honorary Professor of Nanjing Audit University.

On the afternoon of September 22, young representatives from audit institutions across Asia held an exchange forum with international students from the Master of Audit program at Nanjing Audit University.

On the evening of September 22, the delegations from the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Board of Supreme Audit of Iraq experience Chinese culture together with our university’s faculty and students at the International Students College.
