On September 23, Dr. Isma Yatun, Honorary Professor of Nanjing Audit University and Chair of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, returned to our university to deliver a speech. Ding Yue, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of China's National Audit Office (CNAO), and members of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia attended the event. NAU's Party Secretary Dong Birong presided over the speech.Representatives of our students and teachers listened to the speech.
Dr. Yatun delivered a speech titled “The Role of SAI Indonesia in Conducting Environmental Audit – Case Study of Auditing Forestry Sector”, systematically explaining its functions, practices, and outcomes in environmental auditing. She called for collaboration and data-driven approaches to achieve sustainable environmental management.
Dr. Yatun expressed her gratitude to Nanjing Audit University for its contribution to enhancing the professional capabilities of Indonesian audit staff and to the faculty and students who worked hard for this lecture. She also presented a gift.
Party Secretary Dong extended a warm welcome to Dr. Yatun and her delegation, as well as to the officials from the CNAO.
In September 2024, Dr. Isma Yatun, Chairman of Indonesia's Audit Board , was conferred the Honorary Professor at Nanjing Audit University.
