Internal Auditing Department

The Internal Auditing Department is a newly founded department of NAU. Integrating teaching, learning and research of internal auditing into one, the Department is committed to promoting the development of the partner project (IAEP) cooperating with International Internal Auditors (IIA) and fostering excellent talents of internal auditing for enterprises and agencies.
The Department has 10 senior bilingual teachers, including 7 associate professors and 3 lecturers. They have published more than 200 essays in authoritative journals and sponsored over 15 province/ministry-level research projects. Most of the teachers are the members of IIA, CIIA, ISACA, CAS, or other local associations.
The Department consists of 10 curriculums, including internal auditing, internal control, fraud auditing, advanced performance management, corporate governance and internal auditing, internal control and risk management, auditing professional ethics and legal liabilities, IT auditing, and Corporate Governance.
Meanwhile, the Department is responsible for China Internal Auditing Development Research Center of CIIA and by means of this platform, promotes the research cooperation with the National Audit Office, CIIA and other local associations.
Responsible for the IAEP project of IIA, the Department has substantially achieved an internal training model. An IAEP elite student class is established for each grade and consists of the top students, cultivating a great number of internal auditing talents for enterprises and agencies home and abroad. Besides, friendly cooperation between NAU and enterprises also helps expand the employment channels for the NAU graduates.
