The International Auditing Department was founded in 2003, developed from the ACCA Training Center of NAU. Combining ACCA occupational education and quality education, the Department aims to foster all-round qualified talents, who are equipped with solid auditing and accounting knowledge and professional skills, and acquainted with the auditing and accounting conventions of China and the World.
The International Auditing Department has 16 senior bilingual teachers, including 1 professor and 6 associate professors. The Department has built up a teaching team with an optimal structure in terms of disciplines, titles, ages, and education and strong teaching and research capabilities.
The Department sets up 14 curriculums with a reference to ACCA global examination. The curriculums cover all aspects of professional knowledge of financial accounting, financial management, business decisions, corporate governance, auditing, professional ethics, tax and legal affairs.
In August 2011, the Department was awarded by the ACCA Headquarter as the China’s third “Platinum ACCA Training Institute” following Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Xi’an Jiaotong University. NAU was evaluated by the ACCA Headquarter as “the University that outputs the greatest number of ACCA talents”. The passing rate of the ACCA curriculum examinations is higher than the global average rate.
The employment rate has kept steady between 95% and 100% in recent years. Graduates work as accountants, auditors, and consultants in social intermediary organizations, government audit agencies, enterprise, multinational corporations, and other organizations engaging in foreign affairs.
