The Delegation from Laos Ministry of Public Works and Transport Study in NAU for One Week

Having been strictly examined and approved by the World Bank, the Public Project Audit Laboratory of NAU has undertaken the project of “Optimization of Laos Ministry of Public Works and Transport Internal Control”. In order to further strengthen the internal control and internal audit capacity of the Ministry of Public Works of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the World Bank has chosen advisory bodies globally through public bidding to provide consulting services and technical support in department development planning, internal control, etc. The Public Project Audit Laboratory of NAU established a research group, and conducted a preliminary study.
On November 7th, 2013, led by Pena Llosa, the director of supervision department of Laos Ministry of Public Works and Transport, a delegation arrived at NAU. Mr. Pena Llosa and other members in the delegation conducted a 7-day study tour. The itinerary not only included lectures on Chinese audit system, internal audit theory and practice, and the United Nations audit, but also field trips to traffic engineering companies as well as visits to laboratories.
