The 4th Global Chinese Debate Competition Held in NAU

 

On the morning of April 10, the 4th Global Chinese Debate Competition unveiled in the auditorium in Pukou campus. Over 6000 debaters from 204 universities in Asia, Europe and Australia took part in the first round. 16 teams made through to the final round, including the National University of Singapore, Hong Kong University, the University of Macau, University of Edinburg, Tsinghua University and Nanjing Audit University.

 

The final round of the competition will last 4 days on the topics of “whether young people should be encouraged to adventure in big cities”, “whether Confucianism can be held as mainstream value in transitional China”.

 

After four days of intense competition, the National University of Singapore won the first place, with Zhejiang University ranking the second, NAU and China University of Political Science and Law ranking the third.
